Over 15 years coachng experience. Has coached from beginner level, high school in Southern California, club and all the way to D1 NCAA Collegiate Womens at Utah Tech University. Many of his athletes have or are playing at the top D1 universities in the country. His and the story of Beach Elite are an inspiration!

Over 20 years coaching experience. Most recent positions including Beach Elite Girls elit teams and 3 years Varsity coach at Summit High School, Bluffdale UT. 1 year Varsity coach at Jordan High School.
April is passionate, loving yet competitive and reflects this wonderful combination in her coaching style.

HEAD COACH, Girls 18-Elite

Over 4 years of coaching experience including various clubs and high schools in Salt Lake valley including Highland High School. He is a Southern California native and has brought his love of the game to Northern Utah. He is well known and has a great reputation in the volleyball conmmunity.

ASSISTANT COACH, Girls 18-Elite, Girls 16-Elite

2 years of coaching experience. Southern California native from Santa Barbara with lots of experience playing beach and indoor volleyball. He has a love for both teaching, coaching and playing volleyball. His style is infectious as many players love how he has fun yet is competitive and wants all his players to succeed and rise to the next level.

HEAD COACH, Girls 13-Regional

2 years of coaching experience coaching competitive club and also girl’s high school volleyball in Northern Utah. Has played competitive club volleyball for 2 years. Mia brings a lot of heart and strength to the club with her firm yet loving style of coaching.

Over 6 years of coaching experience with local clubs and high schools in Salt Lake City, UT. Established boys VB program at Skyridge HS. Varsity coach at Summit High School. Freshman coach at Highland High School. Kaden has a fun energetic style to coaching that keeps it fun for all that are coached under his leadership.

Over 5 years of competitive volleyball coaching experience. 2 years coaching experience. April comes a very athletic family with her father playing for the Utah Jazz and April played D1 collegiate volleyball at BYU.

2 years experience coaching jr high. Has a love and passion for volleyball and teaching the rising generation. She is quick to make solid relationships with her athletes and great at keeping them engaged and enjoying the process.

Over 5 years coaching experience. Currently Boys Varsity Assistant Coach at Copper Hills High School. Head Club Coach for 4 seasons prior as well as ran many clinics and camps.

Coaching style focuses on fundamentals, building strong defensive skills, correcting technique to improve performance, and supporting each player’s growth both on and off the court.

Master’s in Healthcare Informatics and work as a Compliance Supervisor in the healthcare industry. Lucas speaks 5 languages.

HEAD BEACH COACH

Over 30+ years coaching and playing volleyball. Long Beach City College 2nd team All Conference. Won the CIF at Gahr HS and was awarded Coach Of The Year. Coached at CSULB, USA High Performance, Surf City VBC, Club Director at Momentous.

DIRECTOR - SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

Over 10 years experience. Some recent high school positions include Estancia and Costa Mesa High Schools girls and boys teams.

HEAD BEACH COACH

5+ years coaching experience. Led his team at Club Wood to AAU Nationals Gold medal in 2022 and Silver in 2023.  Played 8+ years both indoor and beach. Collegiate: Indoor D1 at McKendree University & Saint Thomas Aquinas, won the 2024 regular season title & conference championship. High School: South Gate, went to CIF championship runner up finish in 2017,2018.

2+ years coaching experience at Dime VBC 13s (beginners) and also middle school level. He has played competitvely for Balboa Bay and 949 and currently plays D3 at Stevens Institute of Technology.

Coach Rena is an experienced volleyball coach and athletic trainer with 8 years of head coaching experience, including leading 18-1s at Relentless Volleyball Club (RVC) in Colorado and running two high school programs. A 2x CalPac Champion in collegiate indoor and beach volleyball, and a 3x National Semi-Finalist in beach volleyball, she has a proven track record of developing athletes ages 7-17 through elite skill training, strength and endurance programs, and personalized nutrition guidance.

After playing for Beach Elite's beach team in 2018 & boys 18s indoor team in 2019, Sterling has returned to give back to the next generation of youth athletes in his home town of Huntington Beach. From 2019 - 2023 he played for Edison High School volleyball (varsity 2021 - 2023). In 2022- 2023 he was President of SAC Spikers (volleyball for special needs students)
